Am disappointed that you are buying into Tory language about “hard-working families” and thereby talking about deserving poor v underserving poor

    Where did I do that?

I don’t believe in that idea, nor would I support it.

Point #2 on VAT “costing hard working families up to £450 extra”- divisive rhetoric not helpful

Rather minor point, don’t you think?

Thank you but as you are a Lib Dem activist and firmly committed to them, it’s just a matter of quibbling.

The Liberal Democrats are complicit in the Government for supporting the Tories, keeping them in power and ensuring that they can enact their agenda (albeit with some supposed LibDem niceties).

I would not worry unduly if I we you about very minor pieces of questionable rhetoric, when the reality of LibDem complicity means that tangible attacks continue everyday on the less well off by the Tory government.

That is thanks to the Lib Dem coalition.

So if we put in balance to these three words vs. the practical consequences of the LibDems supporting the Tories we can see a truer perspective.

I doubt that you will agree with that either! But then again you are a LibDem activist and helping the Tories, whether or not you realise it.
